The 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli is available in three sizes; mini, medium and large. The mini and medium sizes are the most readily available to purchase, and they come in a wide range of colours. In London, which is where I live, I often see the medium Pashli being used a work bag. In contrast, I spot the mini Pashli a lot more on the weekends when I'm out shopping in central London.
Although the 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli design might look a little boxy to some, it's actually a very well considered design. The mini Pashli is a perfect size to wear across the body; the size is practical (it fits much more than you might expect) without being overwhelming, and the bag isn't very deep. This shallowness of depth means that it sits nicely against the body and doesn't stick out too much. As a result, it is a pretty care-free designer handbag - you can wear it without worrying if it will get scratched or damaged.
With every size of Pashi, there is also the option to wear the bag without the detachable shoulder strap. On the mini Pashli, the handles aren't large enough to carry the bag on the forearm, so without the shoulder strap it really is a hand-held bag. This can be very cute for occasional wear, or editorial photography, but generally I don't see many people carrying the mini Pashli without the strap. Luckily, 3.1 Phillip Lim straps are well-made, comfortable and, most importantly, they're adjustable - so, whatever your height might be, you can really make this bag work for you.
