The 3.1 Phillip Lim 31 Minute Clutch Bag is a really well considered designed. Essentially, the shape is modelled on the classic "pouch", but the bag is modernized with a few simple changes. The 31 Minute Clutch enjoys a trapezoid shape, a wide base and a slim top, as well as soft rounded corners. The overall look is rather chic and understated, allowing room for the brand to play around with more adventurous colours or designs.

Either side of this particular 3.1 Phillip Lim 31 Minute Clutch Bag feature something different. On one side of the bag (as you can see above) there is a panel of bold printed pony-hair, and on the other side of the bag there is a panel of textured white leather. This textured leather features prominently in 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Bags, and it is particularly scratch-resistant. With most white leather bags I might worry about their durability, but I know from experience that the leather used by 3.1 Phillip Lim is quite robust.
Personally, I really like this type of dual-aspect handbag. It offers you a fun print, as well as something much more demure; and it brings to mind the phrase, "business in the front, party in the back". However, I do know that many people view animal-printed bags in this particular colour scheme as another type of "neutral", as it is a pattern that is surprisingly easy to wear. As far as "out there" bags go, this one would actually be pretty easy to pair with anything from a cocktail dress to jeans-and-heels.
I don't typically buy or re-sell anything that I don't adore, so it makes sense that I'm pretty mad for this 3.1 Phillip Lim bag. I think that the brand really knows how to make cool, wearable pieces, and in terms of functionality they're really practical too.
