Who exactly owns and writes the Stored and Adored blog?
There person responsible for every blog post (unless otherwise stated) is always going to be me - and my name is Angelica. I've written and managed another blog for a few years, but with launch of my new online shop approaching I thought that it was important to have an associated blog.
Why does your online store need its own blog?
If you're into online shopping and designer brands then you've probably noticed that it has become more and more "normal" for these sorts of websites to have their own blog. For me personally, there were quite a few reasons why Stored and Adored needs its own blog.
Stored and Adored specialises in selling pre-loved designer bags, and the shop stocks a multitude of brands. Naturally, I'm hoping that the shop will attract lots of different sorts of people but this means that whilst some customers might come onto the site to buy a Céline bag, whilst they browse they'll spot brands like Gerard Darel and Anya Hindmarch. Although some of you might be familiar with most designers, not every customer will be. Having a blog where I am able to write informative and indepth reviews and overviews will hopefully be helpful and interesting to shoppers, and it might well introduce them to designers and style that they love.
Secondly, a blog is a lot more nuanced than a shop and it isn't meant to be a selling space. Although I will encourage blog readers to visit my store, I'm also looking to build up a community of handbag enthusiasts. I'm interested in talking about bags, and writing a blog is a terrific outlet. I'm hoping that there will be others out there who are interested in this niche subject area and who are will enjoy discussing topics in blog comments or over on social media.
What can you expect from Stored and Adored?
Stored and Adored is associated with my online shop (which shares the same name) where I specialise in selling authentic pre-loved designer handbags. This means that there will be blog posts reviewing popular handbag styles and specific bags that we have on sale. However, there will also be a lot of other varied content.
Thanks to my job I get to dedicate a lot of time to learning about specific brands and bags, and I'm going to be sharing a lot of that information on this blog. This means that you can look forward to brand overviews, indepth bag reviews and recommendations of other blogs and videos that fellow handbag lovers might enjoy. I'm also interested in responding to topical articles in popular magazines and discussing anything from handbag trends to up-and-coming designers.
Essentially, if you're interested in designer handbags or pre-loved designer bags then there will be regular weekly content for you to read at your leisure.
When will you publish new blog posts to Stored and Adored?
To begin with, I'm going to be uploading two new blog posts per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 7am. Although I would love to post more often, this sort of schedule will allow me the time to do sufficient research so that every post is as informative and interesting as possible.
