I've already featured a couple of 3.1 Phillip Lim's 31 Minute Clutch Bag before, but this 'OMG' bag is in the smaller 31 Second design. Both the 31 Minute and 31 Second models are still regularly produced by 3.1 Phillip Lim, with new quirky and colourful designs being released each season. This 'OMG' design is a few years old, and only ocassionally appears in the pre-loved designer bag market.
3.1 Phillip Lim advertise these 31 Second 'pouches' as makeup bags, as they're a perfect size for carrying everyday essentials. However, the tapered shape (wider at the bottom, slimmer at the top) of these bags means that they can actually hold a lot more than you might expect, and they're perfectly suitable for using as a clutch bag. The bag is secured with a lovely smooth zipper, and inside there is one large open compartment in which I can comfortably fit my iPhone 7, a card holder, keys, a mirror and a lipstick with room to spare.
In terms of the colour, I'd describe this bag as an aubergine shade - somewhere between burgundy and purple. The 'OMG' design is only on the front of the bag, and the back simply features smooth leather in the same colour. Although the 'OMG' detail is large compared to the total size of the clutch, it is relatively subtle thanks to the bag's block colour. Additionally, when you want a more simple look, you can also turn the bag over to display the plain leather side.
